*~*Moonbeams Dance*~*

Moonbeams dance upon the crests,
A waveless ocean comes to rest
Upon the shores of this, my heart
And in the darkness, lights a spark
Of one love lost, another won
An endless journey has begun
So stem the flow, the sands of time
Sing gently to this heart of mine
A lullaby of where I belong
To float upon the winds of song
And speak to me of angel wings
Butterfly dreams and other things
To comfort me and bring me hope
And together we’ll provoke
A waveless ocean come to rest
And watch moonbeams dance upon the crests

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!

The imagery and the flow is delightful, it reads like a song. I believe that this is the first poem that I have read by you and I am very impressed, I look forward to your next poem!

Take care,
Melissa
