Gray Rain

gray rain
not in Spain
but in the lane
should I complain

that it’s not sunny
I’ll spend some money
buy some honey
it’d be funny

to spread on bread
and eat with Fred
‘til he turns red
and goes to bed

then I’ll go dance
in fancy pants
with uncles, aunts
who live in France
