Children Of My Heart

I had to gather to me the children of my heart
For in this last year they have all scattered apart
Some of them hadn't gone very far from home
But others had taken off they'd begun to roam
Patience was still sitting in the corner for me
But she was the only one I found immediately
I reached out my hand and called her name
Patience returned to assist in this seeking game

We, Patience and I, sought out Joy and Hope
We found Joy skipping quite happily with a rope
I asked her to return to live here within my heart
And she said she'd visit only, but that's a start
Hope was just a little more difficult to track down
At one point I thought she might very well drown
She's been sitting on times ever shifting sands
And as she started to sink she'd lost her hands

But with Patience and Joy we pulled Hope out
And in a day or two she'll be able to get about
Determination was just waiting for me to call
I rather think he's missed us all the dear old fool
He said he'd seen Perseverance down at the pub
And Honesty and Truth belonged to his old club
Then he told me the sad news, it made me cry
He was almost crying too, for he saw Love die

It seems she couldn't live all alone and afraid
She was too scared of the mistakes she'd made
She longed to be back in her place in my heart
And somehow she literally pulled herself apart
So although the children are here back within me
Love isn't here, she died alone and so very sadly
While all the other children miss so much her care
Love died, she only lives when her touch you share

Tracie love, I thank you these are my growing excersise, Kari likes to indulge me with the odd drop of her inspiration, and then waits to see how I pull it together. Anyway I thank you muchly. Isn't it amazing how if I'm poked really hard I will work.
Take care love

Janet Marie love, it is all the result of my sisters of the  phoenix, they think I'm too lazy. (it's true I am) Anyway they prod me to get some activity out of me, and then they show me how much higher I can stretch myself. But I must admit, 'tis exhausting, but I thank you for noticing the change.
Take care love

Circe love, no love I'm really not, but one day I may have enough to get by on. And now my sisters have decided that I need to shake my tail feathers a bit. I expect to be coming up with something a little different. It has always been far too easy for me to stick with a format that I find easy. My fellow sisters of the phoenix say I need to stop coasting and put some effort into it. I know they're right. Thank you so very muchly love you know how much I appreciate you taking the time to read this and you too.

Lady Marsha,
This was a most rewarding read. Thy
sisters, all in names of heart, shall
endure within your words when penned
  as this.

  Appreciating your wondrous thoughts,

Lady Ollyne, thank you very muchly, I'm learning to stretch myself.

Amy love, how truly kind of you love, as I've said, Kari thinks I should extend my reach somewhat, and she's right as always. But I am eternally lazy about putting in any effort. Frightfully bad example I set I know, never mind she has her hands on my reins and is driving me well up to my bit.

I truly thank you, and my isn't it a surprise to me that given some impetus I can be made to move. Love to you love
Take care

Paula love, what can I say except I know. I'll get there, my sister phoenixes won't let me plummet to the earth now.
Love and thanks always
