'Too Much Time On Your Hands'
~*Marge Tindal*~

Time has a way of
Oozing through my skin.
Out of reach, yet very

Much within me,
Underneath the tender
Chasms filled with reminders of
Heartfelt memories laying just out of

Touch with the reality of you.
I'm constantly reminded of just why this
Meandering mind misses you so much.
Evidently I'm out of the picture.  Hell, it's

Obvious I'm out of film.
No need for two-for-one coupons,

Yielding prints out of the focus
Of you.
Undeveloped they
Remain,waiting for a photographer with a

Heart to reprint
All of my features into
Negative responses to the
Digitized replays of you
Saying goodbye.

*Inspired by Balladeer -
Thank you, my friend.

~Marge~

An intense acrostic, perfectly penned.  I am sure that Balladeer will love this.  The photograph theme is very effective, I sadly relate.  Poems - rhyme or free-verse, senryus or haikus and even acrostics from you...is there anything that you cannot do? LOL  You truly are the master of words, my friend    You bring so much variety into these forums and I love it!

Take care,
Melissa

From a simple response to a calendar post and look what you do with it.  Superb penning my friend.  I wonder what you could do with a response such as.............."Never have time to sleep"
hint hint...

After I read - before I read responses - I thought I could write something pithy - Wrong!  Anything witty or adequately complimentary as I would have said it - has been said - (I wanted to say something close to what Doreen said) Anyhow - Yes - take this as  effusive thanks and praise - it is how I intend it

Thank you so very, very much for enjoying this piece.

Marsha~
I appreciate the thought you put into your replies, hon.

Balladeer wrote -

Marge, you have way too much time on your hands!!! WOW! Things I wouldn't even attempt you make look simple! * bowing *
I took one line out of that reply and was stirred to write this one.
I appreciate the inspiration from all of my friends.
Michael, I thank you for this one.

Margie girl, you are not going to con me into this one. (No, no, no, ) You have been an inspiration from the very first, and will continue to be one always, but I'm still not going to do it. They are sooooooooo hard for me. I know you think I should shake my tail feathers again, but kid, these aren't easy, and Oooooooohhh don't give me that pouty look, I'll think about it. Okay, but don't nag me! Yea gods, if it's not Kari, it's Paula, and now you. Saints preserve me!
As I said I'll think about it

I would have replied to this earlier but....
"Time has a way of
Oozing through my skin."
However, I'm glad I did so I read you telling it like it is....good show Marge!
