5-7-5

Love captures the heart
soul now lost in reverie
eyes open, yet blind

Marge - And many ~hugs~ right back at ya!  Thank you so much for teaching me how to use graphics and change styles and fonts - you're a great teacher!  I'm glad that you took the time out to read my senryu

Sven - Yes indeed!!!!     It's a simple senryu, but sadly true in some cases

Take care,
Melissa

Beautiful senryu, Melissa.

Superb!

Yes, eyes wide open, yet they do not see.

I didn't see the Tom Cruise movie, didn't want to, but the title:

"Eyes Wide Shut" certainly fits how well love can see sometimes.  Of course, there are different kinds of love, some sees quite well.

Vas-Thank you, glad you could relate.  And I didn't see that movie either

Take care,
Melissa
