*This is the last in the tribute series as the pox seems to have moved on. I hope you enjoyed the tributes and felt they contributed something worthwhile.*

Busy, busy, busy and fluttering wing in flight
I get the best sensation, when I read of Spitfire's write
Spitfire seems to hover, with words held in the air
Then the purest poetry is scattered here and there
When Spitfire begins to sing, I understand angel's wing

The darting, hovering move around, as Spitfire's song is weft
Her poetry is motion that with emotion bold is cleft
Her words are spread across the page, in every write
With words of hope, courage and rage, poetry in flight
Spitfire song the wing reclaims of the phoenix from the flames

Fluttering with power, Spitfire's spurting prose
Brings about the movement, in scenting of the rose
Her shrapnel words are spread far and near
To raise the standard, bring a tear
And like the eagle taking wing, Spitfire's stories now begin

Spitfire writes in fit and spurts, taking all with her
Hovering over all the work with pride the impassion'd spur
She's come and gone before you know it
But in her write there dwells a poet
Spitfire may you always sing, rise upon hummingbird wing

Kethry, please, PLEASE bring the pox back...you have a gift to look into a poet's penning and thus portrait them perfectly for the rest of us Passionate Poets to peruse...and see...perfection...
