I’m packing the bags of weariness
heading out on the road of tomorrow
Turning my back on yesterday
With all it’s pain and sorrow

Maybe I’ll get a job somewhere
Epcot in Orlando would be fun
I’ve decided I need to move on
Follow my heart to the eastern sun

Selling off the clutter of my life
This heart, you see, it’s fairly new
Hardly used these past few years
I’m selling it cheap, just for you

when at last my journey begins
I won’t look back at all that’s passed
I’ll ride off into the sunrise
Driving east and going fast!

This poem captures my mood completely. I'm ready to move on with you

Evening Poet deVine,

A'hhhh, getting restless, eh? If you can, please spent some time on Vancouver Island, as I can almost guarantee that you may not want to come back. It just happened to me, and I left part of me there. The best to you.

Don't forget to pack your kind heart.
And promise me one thing-- you will teach them how to vote....lol

Don't much care if you travel heavy
Or if you arrive late that you call
Don't matter if you travel quickly
Or even if you show up at all....

Just....... Don't forget your computer!

Love ya, Bob <><

I love it! You've set your mind to it and now you're going to do it. Enjoy the trip, if you get lost come on down to the Texas Gulf Coast.

Wonderful way to toss out the yesterdays and look forward to the tomorrows.  That is afterall where you will be when you wake up is it not?  Loved this one.  I know you will like it there when you get there...I lived there for two years.

Bravo!  Why don't you come north, we've got lots of white fluffy stuff to play in (or shovel).  Also, people are really cuddling up as the heating bills skyrocket.  Enjoyed your post and uplifting attitude.  Rae
