Searching for a kindred soul,
that I might call by name.
A heart that beats
in tune with mine.
That views this world
the same.
That finds me neither
odd nor strange,
in my quiet reverie,
and hears the voices
the night time speaks,
a mellow rhapsody,
of dreams,
of visions,
of wants and needs.
Compassion that burns
like a flame.
Searching for a kindred soul,
that I might call by name.
