Like a song, my heart responds within your gentle touch...
My melody takes shape within your kiss...
The notes become a lover's verse, each one is felt so much...
The song becomes a melody of bliss...

Many years ago, you found me sitting on a shelf...
All alone and playing out of key...
You looked into my heart and heard the song within myself...
And found the notes just waiting there in me...

From you, I learned to sing again, to open up my voice...
To let my song resound upon the wind...
And now you hear a melody, each day I sing by choice...
My song becomes eternal, without end...

Forever will we sing, my love, in perfect harmony...
My song is now a melody for two...
And while our hearts are keeping time within love's symphony...
Forever will my song belong to you...

*another sigh*  So much beauty in passions today...

Soft and tender...I loved this...

I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...

This is beautiful, Sunny, how do you attach that picture to the poem?

Not every man truly lives."

Sunny,  I guess this means you are taken!

Oh, misery.  Oh, crumbled dream.
Things are never as they seem.
Here I'd fallen for your verse,
Hopes are shattered now, or worse.

....but it's all right Sunny,
And don't you worry over me.
I will find another honey,
Some other time, you wait and see.

Oh, blackened moon. Oh, direful day.
Oh, bitter gall of precious loss.
Oh, empty cup.  Oh, whirl-away.
I must bear this dreadful cross.

Farewell,

the terpsichodic tender tickler

Oh Stan, you silly man...
it's as plain as the fingers that rest on your hand!

A poetess writes from the world that she knows...
And sometimes it's poetry, or it is prose,
It may contain truth, and sometimes it's a tale...
But secrets abound, and if not......
then I failed!!!

Thank you, my good friend!!

Well sis........you gone and done it now.  You got me singing your tune out loud.  This was just as lovely and wonderful to read as is your heart.  I would say that any man that has heard your melody is one lucky man indeed.
