What are the words that I can say?
To express the way I feel today
Am I some glossy aftermath?
Relying on my jaded past
Contained by visions that deceive
I see no way to seek reprieve
From all that festers in this soul
Am I insane? Lost all control
Or do I simply seek a way
To face my demons, break from gray
Shed this cloak inside I hide
Allow the now and past divide
Where do I fit in this small plan?
Or is it far beyond one man
Is there some path that we must take?
Did I do wrong? Did I forsake?
I see not how for I am blind
Contention for this chilling time
And twisting fate unfolds again
But still unclear I will begin
To find some of the answers.

Aw Rich, how often I too have felt this way..to be standing at the crossroads not knowing whether to go forward or turn back...Or maybe to just stand still ...

What are the words that I can say?
To express the way I feel today

I see no way to seek reprieve
From all that festers in this soul

I see not how for I am blind
Contention for this chilling time
And twisting fate unfolds again
But still unclear I will begin
To find some of the answers.

Either way, I like this lots.. ~LL~
