I am a sneezy, drippy mess I am not really at my best My nose is sore and I am sure I'll need more tissues from the store I eat my soup and drink my tea And sneeze again...oh, God bless me! Again I slept the day away I fear this cold is here to stay It's been so long since I could breathe Seems nothing that I try relieves My stuffy head, my ears and chest I'm just a sneezy, drippy mess. Well, now it's time I went to bed To rest my sneezy, drippy head. Perhaps tomorrow I can see My way to reading poetry! *sniff* Denise |

I hope you find yourself in the dreams of a very restful sleep my friend. I know it is enough to drive you batty when you can't sit at the keyboard without it getting all gooey'd up. This was a fun read but I am sorry that you are feeling under the weather. |

Denise~ Awwww ! Poor, poor baby. You rest and stay in out of the cold ! This was a really cute write - for one so miserable ... it's nice to know that your sense of humor isn't all sneezy ! If you were here at my place, you could just go out to the grove and pick your own fresh grapefruit and oranges and we'd squeeze you a big pitcher of juice. Chicken soup for the soul, chicken lips for your nose...delightfully woven piece even if inspired by your discomfort. At first I thought it was going to be a piece to the "I am" challenge...you put a smile on my face, but not for your discomfort, please know. |

Denise! What are you doing out of bed? You know that when you're sick you're supposed to lie down and wait for someone to bring you chicken soup, sudafed, and a box of tissues! Now lie down and get better!  Hope you're back to normal so-o-o-o-on! |

Thanks everyone! I am starting to feel better after a second trip to the doctor and a different prescription. I have been sick off and on since the middle of December. I hope my feeling better lasts this time! Thanks for the hugs, well wishes and prayers!Denise |
