Somewhere in your heart my love lies waiting...
Deep within a room that you can't see...
You're so afraid to know, just how deep that love
can go...
That you locked it up and threw away the key...

But you don't know the power of emotion...
You think that every lover is the same...
and you don't even see what waits on bended knee...
You can't judge honest love by childish games...

So, I'll just wait right here until you're ready...
Just go out there and have yourself a ball...
Yes, I'll be standing by...on my shoulder you can cry...
I'm strong enough to lift you when you fall...

I've waited for real love throughout my lifetime...
Sometimes I feel as ancient as the sea...
Many times I've wondered, shed my tears while this I pondered...
Is there someone out there who waits for me?

I had originally posted a graphic with this picture that was fine when posted, but when viewed by members at Passions, took too much time to load.
If anyone is curious as to what the picture looked like, email me, and I will send you your own copy.
Thank you!!

My friend, this is spectacular. Sounds a little sad, and filled with longing. You know I understand.
Beautiful picture, also. Did you create it?

Sunny1~
This is lovely~
The title is most fitting, as it took forever for it to load.
Soooooooo, while I was Waiting ...
it did give me an opportunity to read it slowly. (Tee-Hee)
I even refreshed three times.
Hmmmmmm !

Wonderful sentiments expressed from that heart of yours.
Love n' hugs

~~~ hi 'S' ~~~
I thought that you might like this one as much as I did writing it.  I will be emailing shortly...in my 'free' time!!
The graphic has been deleted. Thank you for reading.
I thank you for visiting today, and good to see that you got the picture in.  It just seemed to fit the words, and 'miranda', although beautiful, was too large to keep here.  thank you, my friend!!
Sunny,
this poem is so heartbreakingly poignant and yet it rings true. Absolutely splendiferous!
~~~ hi 'g' ~~~
I share a similar philosophy with you....anything that one chooses to put effort into in life, is never wasted effort. And sometimes the wait is definitely worth it!!
