"wish you were here"
is what her note said
and in those four words
I knew her heart
a heart that was alone and lost
seeking a love that she could hold

I didn't know what to say
I wanted to tell her so much
to tell her how I felt
tell her how she's made me feel
give to her what she's given me

but, all I could say was
"wish you were here too. . ."

Sometimes that's all that needs to be said ... you're right

You seem to be alone and sad.
Wish you could tell her that she is the one and for her to come nearer to you.

This is sad
I liked the simplicity in this very much.

A wonderful response to a softly smiling statement.   Simply beautiful, Sven.  I am sure you have given much of your own.

Can I be your willful breeze,
Come to touch,
Your heart to ease?

Sometimes the simpliest responses speak volumes, she's lucky that you'd want to be with her hon.   Beautiful as always... I don't think you have it in you to write a truly venomous poem
