The rumbly, in my tumbly
Makes a scary sound
I should not have had that apple crumbly
Now to the loo I'm bound

I think I have a tummy wog
My stomach rumbles, grumbles
As well, my head is in a fog
so to the loo I stumbles.

My tummy sings its opera long
It kept me up all night
I'd rather hear a different song
As I awake to spew in fright

With stomach in control
I stagger forth and back
I guess my tummy's on a roll
"I wish I had not thought that!"

Still one thing that makes me grin
With tummy bug in tow
The dress that I could not fit in
Is now fit, to wear and go.

Paula,
I was going to make a reference to Pooh inspiration here but I thought that was going too far. Thanks for reading and not responding appropriately.

Sorry,
I missed you Krawdad, that would be because of my rush to...post a reply. Glad it made you smile.

Quiet one,
trust me! you don't want another dose of this.

nakdthoughts,
I can't say if its contagious or not I have no-one to infect. Lean close to your screen and I will breathe if you get sick,...we'll know it's infectious.

Be well

LOL ... I've written a couple that could compliment this poem
I used to write quite a few light-n-lively
poems ... always enjoy reading these ... I hope you were overstepping the bounds of your present reality when you wrote this though

Rex,
lol! it was because of the bounds of my present reality I wrote this. Writing takes my mind off my stomach and a number of other things that I won't go into here.
Be well
