Morning Sun

To know again the morning sun

seek thee me in the silk of day
hold me in thy satin sway
and lo then take my breath away

in this whisper of your touch
show then me the love of such
as I would crave thee much

caress me as if I were new
and know then only me to you
like a spray of young day's dew

cherished are we in deep twilight
caressed are we throughout dark night
in our eyes see gleam of light

know in soul of thy mighty chest
this love that beats within my breast
know this Sire, and take thy rest

to know again the morning sun

Kari love, didn't I say the sun would shine today, it is love, and it's coming from you. Utterly utterly excellant work. Absolutely stunning

The morning sun.. I find to be the best... the most introspective... most reflective... most juvenescent... most enlightening... I could go on and on... I love your rendition - You've said it beautifully, my Sunny friend..

Kari love, you do exceed and excell with each one. And this I've said before that you do, this is truly excellant. The earlier reply was a little 'triste', I thought and anyway this needs to stay near the top of the page. because it is a star.
Take care love

Well, I just love the morning sun
The way it smiles on every one
Oh, what a mood it puts me in
As it tells morning to begin

and I just love the noonday sun
The way it shines is so much fun!
It puts the brilliance in my day
Inviting me to come and play..

Then I just love the setting sun
That signals day is finally done
I softly smile and close my eyes
Until the sun again will rise...

again, Sunrise, your poems inspire...

You've brought tears to my eyes Karilea...
This is so beautiful, tenderness and softness
abound in your weave and it's a pleasure to
sink into and just be...if only for a moment~

Oh, how I like this -

'To know again the morning sun

Such lovely verse shines forth.
