Sunny1 - Midge in flight Flying here and soaring there Landing where she will Sunny1 is Midge in flight Collecting poet's fill Though she collects, she also leaves a gift for all to see That gift, a write so rare and true, it is pure poetry Sunny's like a lightning bolt That travels hither, yon She lights up where she touches And swiftly moves along Though she alights, she also gives a touch that's hit by pain In the brightness of her write, is poetry again Sunny is a little bee Pollinating life Collecting smiles from you and me Moderating strife And as she hovers sups a bit, and then moves swiftly on Her write expresses all she is, and speaks to us with song Sunny1 is here and gone As swiftly as the breeze That blows upon a winter's day Or moves the summer's seas Her gusty write touches soft, rustles hearts and then Shakes up heart's complacence, then she's gone till who knows when A midge is tiny, tiny, With a bite that really stings Sunny1 is tiny too With large poetry that sings She hovers lightly everywhere both in taking and in giving In her write, she shows the care of loving and of living Sunny1 is able to see and hold the night and there's a touch of stardust in all of Sunny's write Sunny1 a writer true, all she touches turns to gold A midge in flight who takes us to, a place where life is bold Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. And not only that but she does it with her eyes closed and playing the keyboard. This was a wonderful tribute to my sister of poetry and I know she is going to love it. You are amazing my friend and have a heart of gold yourself. |

Thanks everyone, although this is an okay write I'm not 100% sure I captured Sunny1 as she is so much more than I could encapsulate, however if you see a resemblance however small then it makes me happy.
