Well, here we go again...it seems
That LongJohn's having silly dreams
That if he scuttles Balladeer
Roads to the ladies will be clear.

All know by now this little sailor
Is nothing but a puny failure
When it's time for him to perform..
He isn't hot....not even warm!

I treat the ladies with respect
Not like they're boarded and shipwrecked
He has a cannon but can't fire it
No ammo for this little pirate.

I'd like to thank the ladies here
Who answered him defending 'deer.
I won't forget you stood by me
Against that act of piracy.

LongJohn thinks gals come on to him?
That light bulb's gotten pretty dim!!
Why settle for a can of Spam
When you can have a real ham???

Fran has no problem with her man
So, LongJohn, just forget that plan.
There's only been one time I fell
And Lorelei swore she wouldn't tell!!

is on attack
majestic one--
"What a rack!"

The Balladeer
'pon jagged stone...
never stag shall
stand alone...

He is the king--

'Deer love, didn't I know that you'd scupper his yacht. And you did it soooooo stylishly as always. Well I needed a smile, and this has given me one.
Take care

What a great poem I laughed my socks off
Thanks for the chuckles

One muscle is all you, 'Deer, used,
To wield your pen of quick abuse.
And which muscle was in what you wrought?
The only one that you use a lot!

Yournickname describes your usual state,
Very horny, randie, and a bit irate.
Somehow, "Stag" seems to say it all,
You do better alone when the rut calls.

But you toe the line when Fran is there,
The horns are retracted with speedy care.
Yet you're still a devil, (Watch out lasses,
He's always quick with inept passes).

Mike - great response to my poem.  I've really missed our good natured ripostes.  As always, I consider you a great poet (and a keel-hauling, timber-shivering scalawag).
