Listening to every heart

Rising Dreams

So quiet, so quiet.  Shhh.
Whisper.
It is dark, but not,
it is light, almost,
and within myself
I feel the urge to rise,
always hesitant at first,
the fear of falling ever-heightened.

I am always alone
at this time.
I know it is since
no one must descry:
I can fly!
And I do so,
willingly,
even with the uncertainty
the fear always brings.

Once my mind overcomes
the apprehension,
the magic euphoria of the
uplifting freedom
then emerges, and I can
look ahead,
and back,
upward, and down,
my only fear now of hearing a voice
that will cause me to crash.

This part is the time I cherish
best, the total freedom,
the weightlessness, and
the elegant beauty from the
heights I can reach.
By myself.
Alone.

I share the nightly day-time
firmament with no birds,
no mechanical structures,
no butterflies.
I wonder why
no butterflies.

Sometimes the lift into the
heavens
comes slowly;
other times I am just there
overhead,
looking down
on me.

I hope in my dreams
I shall always be given flight.

I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me

Kari love, didn't I say you were born to fly love, didn't I?
Now YOU know from where the inspiration for the phoenix comes from. As always love, in all to be uplifted to soar. And flying beside you will always be me
Sisterhood of the Phoenix, we are arisen,
take to the sky love and keep on flying high
You know I love this don't you.
Take care love

Doreen, no one will ever tell you not to believe, or that you can't fly...because you do, and you shall!
