Living Hell
'''''''''''
Hearts in memory
drawn before us
haste display
their vesting style
Daydreams cast
and plead
restore us
dancing o'er
a rusted smile
'''''
Chancing fancies
may discover
heart-light
cast
where sins may dwell
Shadow darkened skies
recover
the isolation
sought to quell
'''''
Sifting through
those haunting traces
ringing round
a fading light
Who might stop
and trade us faces
invest a smile
to warm the night
'''''
To the wise
that rise
above us
bend an ear
to wishing well
See the dancers
push
and shove us
to the brink
of . . .
''''' ''''' '''''

well, well, well...what do we have here? IT'S ABOUT TIME. I've been watching you lurk all night...and still waters DO run deep...

AND WELCOME!!!! This is superb...excellently crafted, the flow is there, the thoughts are as well, (and I DO so relate) and the ending is so clever I am positively green with envy!

ME LIKES VERY MUCH. (could ya tell?)

You're very kind, thankyou
I have read several of your poems and to be honest, they sort of set the mood as I wrote this one
You are very good

Thankyou Coco
I don't write very often
I'm more of a reader, a shadow that feels

Thankyou Robin
I don't really think it's been overlooked, the title will probably keep most people away
After all, who wants to read what is probably a depressing poem

Ah Quiet One...welcome to Passions!  You will be surprised at what good titles will do...and you shall have many readers in the days to come, trust me!  Welcome, and check your e-mail for a special greeting!
