The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-01-04 11:39 PM

Repost and redone from DP

This is my soliloquy
lots of hope and fantasy
tinged with touches of delusion
always loving an illusion.

Wanting that which cannot be
still my heart yearns to be free
chooses without my consent
so quickly this heart is lent.

Knocking, knocking, evermore
praying for an open door.
Question why my life is fraught,
turmoil all that I have wrought.

This is how my life's comprised
shreds of love and bounteous lies.
On and on I try again
in pursuit of happy ends.

Not sure if this applies, but its all I could come up with

If it is you then it applies and I personally enjoyed looking into you
through your words.  They confirm
what I already knew.........you are
a caring heart matched against the
world seeking just one that will
understand and accept the love you
have.  I know that you will find it
and you will find the happiness that
dreams are made of.  Beautiful write my
friend.
