"I AM" challenge

I am the essence of you, in the presence of me.
I wonder if my dreams treasured in hold, shall see reality.
I hear your voice calling within the storms that rage in my night.
I see your shadow beckoning me to collide in pleasures delight.
I want, I need, I desire the always of your decree.
I am the essence of you, in the presence of me.

I pretend in waters surround, you enter and freeze me to your press.
I feel you always touching my mind, shaping, molding, I acquiesce.
I touch your touch, wrapping myself within reflections flamed by candle light.
I worry that this is but a dream, to be snuffed out each night.
I cry the moment your whispers leave me weakened with no guarantee.
I am the essence of you, in the presence of me.

I understand your love for me is true and must trust in your word.
I say what my heart desires in expressions to you only, heard.
I dream of the day when words of love shall not be distanced any more.
I try each morning to hold onto the memory of each breath shared before.
I hope that the heavens above hear my nightly plea.
I am the essence of you, in the presence of me.

~Wynter

Evening Wynter,

A challenge you have accepted, and a challenge you have captured. You just get better and better. Keep them coming.

You have portrayed yourself quite romantically.... In that we all share in this common need to be loved, I commend your thoughts expressed completely.  Bob <><

Beautiful.  As I read this, your self-revelation, I became more aware of something about me.  My hopes and dreams do not hold much existence in this world, this side of life.  They are more sure in the other side of life.  I guess I don't think there's going to be much in this world that will come to me again.
And yet, I do have so many blessings to be thankful for...just don't expect anymore tender touches and sweet words whispered in my ears.  And when I go here, to this place in my thoughts, I am sorrow.  So I will go away from them and pretend human love doesn't matter.

WYNTER, I'm so happy I got a chance to read your post...
Ya know sweetie, there are some feelings in here that I can relate to and you have penned this I AM exquisitely...
I dunno about you but I have found this challenge of 'finally' opening up an incredible experience...
What I found difficult and still do is to read what one writes in the moments before and I guess that's the process of learning about oneself and facing the feelings buried within the heart...

James-hmmm romantically nice...sweetly  said by you..thank you

Kethry- yes  sometimes I do feel a bit naked in my writings

Mark- "I am the essence of you, in the presence of me." I have no idea where that came from..but that was the beginning of my thought process on this challenge..and I tried to stay with the theme..there is  so much more to me..but I think I expose more than enough..as Kethry has pointed out

Startime- thank you..yes heartfelt it was and I am glad we all joined in on this challenge Thank you once again...
