Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-01-04 03:46 PM

This Night

where is my love,
when he comes home
to people, places, things ~
he harbors such a longing
a deep and long ago wish
to hold within his hands
the love of loves of which
he thought he'd never know
till now....

where is he, my love
he who walks the night
in spirit's form to visit dreams
and holds me oh so tight
where is he, this love, my love
who harbors the longing so
of a love, the love of loves
which he thought he'd never know
till now…

where is he, this love
this love that garners up my heart
holds me tender in his voice
knowing we shall never part
where is he, this, my love
who harbors a longing so
of a love, of his love's light
which he thought he'd never know
till this night...

I will assume his imagination matches yours - if not his poetic talent - and given that - I'm sure - you'll be together this night

Sure, surprise him and then let him have it when he's least suspecting!  I love these lines.

He must exist somewhere, and I am determined to find him someday. Hope you do too.
This was another poetry gem, love it.

Beautifully written, Karilea! They can always exist in our minds, can't they?!

Sunshine,
Harbor no more, he is there.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
