The sun is rising
anger's spent
as I watch the moon's descent...
moss entangled from the tree
dangling webs uncertainty
soggy path beneath my foot
upstaged by the cypress root
I am wandering
I am free
I am lost
certainly--
only certain I have known
is the curtain of my home
heavy in the dust of pleasure
dank within the den of leisure--
ceiling fan a metronome
of the comfort gloom of home
the dog is smiling at my knee...
tell me, what's become of ME?

Sad poem Celeste but it's also so well written with lonelines and retrospect. Chin up Acadian lass you're going to go a long way...there's things to write!

oh baby...when ya find out that answer...
please tell me ... I been asking it forever now...
*sigh*  more mirrors me twin ...
my own words haunt me ...

" no one ever told me ... I could get lost while standing still"

(me thinks that needs to be me signature)

you know, that I know, that you know ...
and you also know I love this poem ...
I collect them ya know ...
love ya sen
me

Am I loved by my words
Will my vows weather the tide
Bended knees can forsee
all the rhythms of life
And a heart can be held without pride

Don't you know sweet one.  You've become a charming, provocative, sensuous, delightful friend to many, admired and respected by many and a pleasure to meet!

The future is straight ahead.

It certainly did stike a cord. I read it over and over again.

Very impressive, and I will answer that last question. (my opinion, even if not requested   )
You have become a very fine poet. And you will go on from there. I know it.
