I AM...
~Serenity's Challenge~

I am a believer of love pure and true
I wonder why sorrow is relentless and cruel
I hear beat of my heart beneath ivory flesh
I see a struggle between what is known as best
I want neverending rainbows to scroll across sky of blue
I am a believer of love pure and true

I pretend reality is just a yesterday's dream
I feel hurt when words spoken are meant as nothing
I touch the dust of faerie as a wish is placed in trust
I worry of complexity of starting anew I must
I cry in shadowed moments hidden from view
I am a believer of love pure and true

I understand it takes two to begin and one to end
I say real love has no boundries it magically bends
I dream of a day when I awake with smile that is bright
I try to conceal the fears that reside in my night
I hope to soar once again embracing life as I should
I am a believer of love pure and true

Coco....Oh...Coco...

smile. This, this, is just stunning...
I loved the soft value of the wording,
like wedding vows in a hush, and the graphics, oh....coco...grin...YOU ARE artist, You Yam...

Hey Coco this is a beautiful render of your open hearted thoughts...very well written! I agree that the greatest of all these things is love....so important isn't it? And I also agree that real love has no boundaries it magically bends...THAT is one of the best poetic lines I've read in a long long time!!

Oh, Coco........this is too beautiful for words!!  I love the thoughts, and as you know, I am totally drawn to graphics. The combination of the two in this work is exceptional, my friend........

And my friend..........I am a believer in you.  This was an outstanding response to the challenge and probably my favorite so far of all the ones I have read.  It makes me wish I had gone deeper in mine but I am not that deep anyway.  Thank you for sharing this part of you with us so wonderfully and freely.

Coco,
To describe this wonder in a few sentences just would not do justice to your amazing talent. It is not often that I read a poem over and over again. Usually once or twice I get the meaning, however, the sheer beauty of I Am, sent me into a reading frenzy over and over again. I loved this very powerful piece of your heart, and at the moment it sits in my library, if you do not mind. Thank you so much.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
