I miss my baby
he's not here
and no he's not
not even there
I don't think
he is anywhere
he's lost and
I will follow there...

I miss my baby
he's not home
left me here
on my own
I don't think
he gives one good damn...
I miss my baby,

lonely,
      am...

Girl........
You sure do a great job on the blues, and I'm saying that as a stage musician who sings mostly blues. I appreciated the deep feelings you wrote into this......I can feel your heart in there, and that, my friend, IS the blues.  Good job!!  (I am sorry, though, if you are feeling this kind of hurt,
and to write like this, you must be. So, along with this reply, I'm sending hugs and wishes for better days...... )

Write on!

Yes I miss my sweet also..
now you reminded me of that old song...think it was called "Singing the Blues"
Well I never felt more like singin the blues cause I never thought that I'd ever lose your love dear.  Why'd you do me this way.  The moon and stars no longer shine.  The dream is gone I thought was mine.  There's nothing left for me to do but to cr-r-y-y-y-y over you.  James

Well if that's the blues then you got'em
Cause there's hurt in your heart from top to bottom.
You don't know what to do with this soul full of blues
And there's tears fallin hard from your eyes to your shoes.

That man sang forever now he's gone again
But he ain't your lover ain't even your friend.
Holes in your heart holes in your mind
and you're left with the blues and worn out time.

If this is the blues then you got'em
now there's holes in your heart from the top to the bottom.

I'm writing this for you Celeste...just add some Louisiana electric guitar and some tears and like John Lee says the blues will heal ya......great poem I really loved it I kind of got carried away. Hate to see ya so sad..love to ya    ethome

Can I pull up a seat in this blues bar and join you in this song, I know it well. we can drink away our sorrows, well enjoyed the read

It's in your eyes a fire that's wild and glorious
Unhibited, unfinished in everything I do Let the morning rise like our hearts desire" whipping boy
