Very Hungry

I’m very hungry in this world
I’m so hungry
The money has got my mind twisted
Into little tight knots
I routinely scheme and plot
To stop this hunger that I feel
My reality is harshly real
So I’ve created my own fantasy
In the process of my creation
I’ve compromised my self worth and my sanity
I have no common decency
For my hunger rules everything
I tried to stay strong, but it eventually got the best of me.
The street is my home
Matter of fact, wherever I make it.
Cross my path with something valuable
I have no choice but to take it.
I’ve always been hungry, even in my mothers’ womb
I’m going too seriously loose my mind
If I don’t feed my belly soon
My youth was filled with sorrow
Still hungry for some food
Being poor isn’t easy; you’re always in a bad mood.
With that understood
I will continue my mission to grub.
And don’t take it personal,
After I rob you, I’ll still show you some love.
