Woman, You Touched My Heart. So many years ago, through great pains Birth you gave to me Woman, you touched my heart. Through the strains of my childhood You picked me up, and got me going again Woman, you touched my heart Along came my sweetheart to take me from you Through your tears of happiness Woman, you touched my heart In a different home, a different place Loving me, giving me tender dreams Woman, you touched my heart The tears in your eyes, as you strained Giving birth to our children Woman, you touched my heart You are the gift of creation to humankind Giving, loving, and so very gentle Women, you touched our hearts Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |
