I Read Your Words

I read your words on a screen and I believed
Thought my heartache would be relieved
They touched on the very essence of me
You supported me in loves stormy sea
Your love was real I know that was true
And it went because others love you too

I waited for you to respond to this loves gift
I wanted your spirit to soar, climb, to lift
And although it did you still wanted more
So take back your love and go and soar
For I can remember and hold this dream
And use the memories to fuel loves theme

Your words were like an incantation a spell
So professionally you rang my hearts bell
My eyes only had to read there your name
And my heart was on alert to play a game
You'd capture me with a celestial phrase
There I was darting around your loves' maze

I'm giving you my thanks for a lesson taught
For a least I had a taste of what I sought
And heaven or paradise is a place I've seen
The next time I'll say to heaven I've been
And the lover who follows my giving heart
Will find that from heaven he's not far apart

How dare he toy with your feelings. I do like how you put into words your hurt and how you healed from it.

I am starting to discover to my dismay
there are many men this game seems they like to play
the hearts of all the women they collect with glee
while we sigh believing words that trap a heart once free

*sigh* my heart bleeds for you dear one. Much love and hugs to you from me.

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams.

I am just relieved they weren't mine...lol...

and winks to me Marsha...

and it IS difficult...methinks sometimes the ladies should start a "dead poet's society"--poets are safer to love in the grave....but it's ALL very haunting, nonetheless.

Love to you lady, watching you grow here..hugs.

Loved it Marsha.  Sometimes the game is played and the stakes are high.  A broken heart is a risk we take.

If a dream touches us, it exists to us as anything else that touches us.

Marsha,
you played a game you could not win
did no-one say "do not begin"
you lost your heart and that's a shame
how could you not know 'twas just a game
the pain you're feeling is so deep
but your heart will not always weep
you'll go on, you have the power
growing stronger every hour
in your write you show your soul
it won't be long till again you're whole
until that day comes around
just keeping writing to passions ground.

Write on, be strong
Keth
