Listening to every heart

0 posted 2000-12-31 10:11 PM

In This the New Year

I shall hear a ballad be sung
and see a feather write the moon
and know that the Irish sing
and see a cowboy in the noon

I shall

see a cobblestone lay the way
and be serene in midst of gay
and simonize all my floors
that welcome me with open door

then,

in the write of response most
in the welcome of gifted host
as in the magic the magician sings
on the lift of butterflies' wings

see

all the rainbows in the sky
anniversaries hang on high
see a wisdom from lower east
see thus a dove on the nigh

I shall

be well in the repeat of song
know in mind that one belongs
the gift of Ladies what would be strong
and in the sea we know the long

in the Indian knowledge of we
in these the suthernmost skies
we acknowledge the romance that lies
in the palm of trees that sigh

then,

in the young of the under
in the lift of lee
in the acknowledgement of mindset
in the gift of we

Should you see you here
know that You are held most dear
should you not hear this, the ring
that I would want to bring

to your heart
know that I have tried to impart
a signal to you, the poet sublime
the word of you that always rhyme

know that you then encompass
all of the poetic words that pass
to my brain in soulful refrain
in my heart 'tis YOU remain

Be well in this New Year
Know that your Words are those I Hear
Know that Your Song is the song that's Sung
KNOW that you have just begun…

know that the sigh of you is great
know that your reasons always relate
know that your chemistry is never too late
know that somehow I can translate

and be so very, very well
in the wisdom of your swell
know that I hear you in your sigh
know that I hear on the bye and bye…

In this the New Year
might I translate
may You know
the Great of Great….

May you always
be You

if wishes were my gift then I would gift to you

Reading between lines
is not so easily done
neither is writing

Happy New Year
