The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2000-12-31 10:03 PM

How many of us sit tonight
at computer screens, and gaze at pages blue
and wonder why we've not a damn thing else to do?

Don't get me wrong, this is a special place
a haven of the heart, the finest kind
yet don't we long for love so hard to find?

Does anyone wish they were wrapped in dreams
and holding close their lover through the night
with more than poems to sigh and hold them tight?

Am I the only one who cries for this?
Am I alone in feeling this so deep?
When all I want is someone close to keep?

Just thought I would get this out, now I can say Happy New Year to all of you, and I love you lots, you have made my year bearable.

Sandra, I should be thanking you for all the wonderful moments you have given me on your sweet replies.  I wish for and know that the year 2001 will hold many wonderful things for you just because you have the kind of heart that will draw them to you.  Happy New Year my friend.

Sandra,
You will never be alone as long as you have your Princess Sister to be there for you.  And I always will. I love you, my friend. Happy New Year, and it will be this time...
            Love, Elise
