The Shores of Alone

When next I look upon love's golden face
and feel again the beating of my heart
I shall return to life with full embrace
and know that fate has not yet torn apart.

And as I loosen bonds of memory
to look ahead towards all the future dreams
I fathom all the pain has helped me see
and humbly pray to understand the theme.

Tomorrow's love shall heal my broken wings
and once again I'll fly towards moonlight's glow.
My heart will then remember how to sing
and say goodbye to pain filled nights of woe.

He is looking for you too. When the two of you shall meet then you both can "fly towards moonlight's glow." Loved your poem and hope Fate steps in real soon to stop that pain.

ahem...please refer to my little piece about "not looking" and it shall come...

just like a field of dreams...

it shall come...

and if you doubt me,
don't do it for long...

hugs to you this New Year...

OK, don't laugh, but this is the most positive thinking I have done in 3 months, so I want everyone to see it
See,I am not just one big river of tears ALL the time.

And fly high you shall, soaring in the heavens with the angels, as always it was a joy to read your words, take care and hope your heart heals soon and you meet that special somebody.

My friend.......do you know how happy it makes me to read this one from you.  I have known all along that one day you would soar again and now you see it and I am smiling big time here.  Superb write Sandra but more than that, it is filled with the hope that ALL can find love and happiness.  I would imagine that there are many people that would post this on their bulletin boards or refrigerators just to inspire them and bring a smile of hope to their face.
