The Snowman (for the snowbound amongst us)

When I was young,
and went to school,
My teacher thought,
I was a fool.

When recess came,
on winter day,
She sent us out,
in snow to play.

To build a snowman,
big and tall,
When I heard,
my teacher call.

How could I know?
to office sent,
That was where,
the carrot went?

The principal,
said I'd been bad,
But truth be told,
I was quite glad.

For I'd no time,
'fore teacher's call,
To put in place,
a wee snowball.

Cute!!!! I bet you were a 'handful' when you were young. I think you should go make a snowman now....have fun.

Mike's poor snowman, had no mate,
Til after school, he'd have to wait,
He'd make a mermaid, she'd be great,
Complete with some of Marge's bait.
