A Question Of Choice

I've tried but it's an impossible feat that I simply cannot do
I cannot chose beauty, I can't choose which is the best of you
The stars could fall out of the sky while I there still stood
In baffled indecision I cannot make the choices I should
I've said it over and over again until I'm so weary and sore
And now I simply cannot, I will not say it, even once more

Could you measure the time between forever and eternity
Or unravel the mysteries of the stars and what they can see
Would you be wise enough to counsel the wandering heart
Or explain the evil that roams our world ripping it apart
For if you could see the answers within unwrap the whole
Then you may be able to take this choice and return my soul

If the heavens stretched forever where does the rainbow start
In mankind's problem that he doesn't have a caring loving heart
Do having choices stop us seeing the truth of a simple love
When did we stop thanking HIM for being our Lord up above
If you can answer some of these questions explain them to me
And if you can do that then this isn't such a clouded mystery

Would you live forever or would you rather only have one life
If you could see the future would you avoid all pain and strife
Or is it the travail that strengthens your spirit and your soul
Without the fire would you be yourself or maybe not whole
And now if you have some solutions I'd like to hear from you
For then I can pass this choice, this option to a heart that's true

Ethome I think You've already stolen her heart, but share her well, we all need to know if she ever finds the answers...

Good job Marsha! Before I say anything more, and I am sure I will find several more of your posts to respond to today, this is the perfect time to say Happy New Year! Be good tonight...but have fun!  K

P T love, you can have my heart but wouldn't you rather have something that's not quite so battered about love. Or something that was a little wiser maybe, Mmmm?
Well if you ever do find out the answers, or even some of the questions you would definitely be the one to pass it on to.
Take care kid

Kari love, thank you muchly, I'm always good, well good ish, now you are always an angel. Who spreads her loving warmth to all. I'm the amusing gadfly, never very still, but at least I'm fun.
Take care and here's too a wonderful New Year
Cheers and good wishes
