The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2000-12-30 10:35 PM

Abiding alone
as usual
I am thinking,
maybe a new identity
will bring me a new
life.
Maybe
Ice princess??
I could learn
to like this,
in a strange way.
To live out my days
encased in frozen
solitude,
the alternative to hot
bloody, heart rupturing
love,
yes,
maybe
ice princess
will do it..

A solid, yet sad piece catalinamoon, I liked it very much

Maree

"If my words could blanket the skies
and fill every corner and crevice of
this earth, still this wouldn't be enough"
"Maree Russo"

I can surely relate to this! Sometimes that wall of ice sounds good, especially when your heart bleeds.
Good poem!

Sandra,
A decadent change of venue for you. I like it!! But I know in your heart, you could never truly be an "Ice Princess".  There's too much fire and passion left in you, and I know you will "keep the dream alive" If not this one, then a new one....
         Love you, Elise

Cat, I agree with Greeneyes, perhaps some sunshine in your life...here, take my hand, and we shall thaw each other out...and if you have to stay cold for a little while, then I shall name you Crystallina...and your words will dance in sprite spirit form all across the blue...
