the Gallery is dark as he walks it one last time
save for the lights that shine on each portrait
each one done with sincerity, warmth, and love
a "Thank You" to people of love and light
painters and poets
          friends and inspirations

weaver of words

he spins around, having heard the voice
but, finding no one, he moves on

weaver of words

surely now, he heard that
and, turning, cannot believe his eyes
he sees them, four beings
clothed in white, one of them speaks

weaver of words, knight and singer, do not fear
we mean you no harm
that is not our purpose here
calm your heart and listen

I am Calliope, Muse of Epic Poetry
these are my sisters
Erato, Muse of the Poetry of Love
Polyhymnia, Muse of the Songs to the gods
and Euterpe, Muse of Lyric Poetry

we come to bring you a message
messages from your creations
they wish to tell you how they see you
for you have seen into their hearts
they now wish to see you as well
and offer their thanks

Superb at writing poetry he's a dream come true
Very original, he is fantastic at what he can do
Effortlessly, he seems to paint a poetic portrait
Never less than stunning, his are all first rate

Passion burning soft in heart, as he scribes away to impart
the thought, the feel
the touch of real
a touch of art

A gentle giant of a man
WIth a heart as big as all outdoors
His cup runneth over with understanding and compassion
In his hands, the strength of the wind, the warmth of the sun

He weaves the fabric of Romance into the finest silk
An author who captivates the souls of others
A gentle poet who contributes through his own work
Giving to the recognition of others

A Romantic dreamer, great listener and friend
Sensual and intelligent, heart compassionate
Strong enough to be tender in a moment of need
Wise enough to let go when he wants to hold on

He is a gracious friend and poet
Reaching, teaching benevolence
With gentle disclosure and empathy

Indeed, he is all knowing

Stalwartly gallant and masterful
Intuitive and talented
A devoted craftsman who continually
Strives to innovate in his writing

Tender heart of most treasure gold
One truly deserving of love in all its apsects
For all the subtle meanings found in the word so true
I do believe the word "gentleman" applies to you

Then they dissappeared as quickly as they came
And he smiled as the words still played in his mind
He whispered a soft "Thank You" to each portrait as he passed
Opened the door, walked through,
                                   and closed it. . .

*The Passions Gallery is now closed*

*sigh**sigh* tears fall freely as I read the words of a man I have learned to love from the first I saw the wonderful way he showed his love for all his poetic friend. This is so very touching and beautiful, dear Sven, and very much reveals the man you are. I have been truly blessed to read your wonderful words. *sigh* Oh that the Passions Gallery is closed. *sigh* oh thank you dearest of men. Much love and a New Years kiss from me to you

I do believe
I saw a rainbow of portraits
a touch of light
a gift of might
a romantic soul
one with a goal
I do believe
I saw Svengali
and of his work
I say "thank God he
gave his all
and gave his word
and gave a line
that shall be heard"...

and I thank Sven
once again
for being who he is
and then

I shut off the Gallery light....

till morning come and then
we shall all visit Sven....

Oh Sven, I love this, the muses have indeed described a wonderful poet. You are all those things, and more.
Thank you for all of your support and all your beautiful writing.

Sven,
All good things must end, I suppose
this is better than most, so it needs to close
but as long as one poet lives and breathes here
this work is enshrined in memory and tears
and thanksgiving rises from the depths of my pen
as I go to the archives and read them again
the gallery closed, I understand this
for the work you completed, I offer a kiss

Well done, my friend
this has no end
laugh loud, be proud
you touched passion's crowd.
Kethry

Sven,
You are truly the Eternal Knight in the opulant gallery of poetry.  In this kingdom you have become one with, the Lords honor you in awe, and the Ladies offer you sweet whispers of dreams yet to be dreamt.  You are an exquisite writer, and you fill my days with longings to read more.
         Much love, Elise

Sven I too am at a loss for words, ME? Yes, just the once LOL...
Well here is a little something..
I've known you from the start here in Passions, and I just want to say I'm proud of all you have achieved here, and given to us all, kind and beautiful words and poetry, friendship and love, and dreams to dream...
I'm still so glad you stumbled in these hallowed halls...
Love you,
Isis
