Between the Lines

Strangely, I awoke yesterday, with a feeling of panic.
No money, and an aching, wondering once again
How can time pass me by, and leave on the doorstep
Emptiness...so I busied myself, painting my feelings
Across the wide expanse of walls, and sponged the tears,
Leaving my trails for all to see.

I bordered them in my blackness, exposing them
To the light of day, hoping the sprays of mauve and blue
And touches of teal, would be my gift to share,
To fill the emptiness, with a piece of the rainbow.

Stepping back, I admired the presence of spirit
That was left behind for all to see, and then realized
The "all" was only me. And that even filling the empty
With color and pride, I would still have to continue on the path
To complete my rainbow, the one that is just around the corner
Hidden behind the clouds of my days...mysting my life
With droplets of hope, as I wait to reign upon and complete
The canvas, I have stretched before me.

~Wynter...just another day in wait

Very beautiful, Wynter! Your rainbow doesn't have to be completed in one day...just one day at a time!

Morning Wynter,

Very touching Wynter, very touching. YOu have an enormous amount of talent within, and I see your soft emotions in your writings. Nice job on the wall.

I paint with my words and I loved this., the border is beautiful.  Yes, I know about giving up.  Many say I should have a long time ago but I'm Irish.  What can I say?
As long as I can write and express I will not give up. And don't you either!
Naked thoughts are well dressed in an array of color and beauty and we need that around here.

Wonderful writing! I like the style you are using here. Apart from that the ideas are very well expressed and you got the reader absorbed completely.....you will complete the picture ...your own way and in your own time........great stuff!
