As Rose Petals Fall "I Ask"

As Luna abates the winter solstice
emanates with gentle radiance casting crystalline
brilliance to nights inclement residue.

Rose petals fall in tepid breeze
as winters calling holds back for one last dance,
daffodils and posies
worthy of bouquets sway to and fro.

Harmony and peace abide this picturesque
moment as if knowing,
time was coming to an end and true seasonal
change would rule the land.

One could find themselves rapt in awe,
poised in wonderment,
celebrating such a momentous theme
inspirational in magnitude
from these earthly delights that carelessly
promote tranquillity’s
healing powers to a weary soul.

What captivating influences these earthy gifts
have when given the opportunity
to penetrate deeply with powers only
Nature can provide.

Why is it that we as humans fall short
in memory to the powers
of Nature when capsized in our own limited self,
and fail to open up to that in
which encompasses our whole essence?

I merely rapt in “awe” poised in “wonderment”
watching rose petals fall,
ask myself why do I let the love for life pass by
when I at this moment
“see” such beauty so freely given and am asked
“nothing” in return except to be
merely thankful!

Such expression and imagery you have penned!  Isis will love this, it flows with eloquence like a dreamy song with a simple, yet important message at the end!

Take care,
