To Seek The Paragon

Upon this mortal plane
life passes too soon.
Memories echo the sins
of countless passages.
Time travels corridors
of what could have been.
Decisions made,
alter the path of destinies.
Corridors converge only to split,
each life altering the flow.
To seek the paragon
offers only paradox.
The past can not be changed
only remembered.
What we learn
may shape the future.

If a dream touches us, it exists to us as anything else that touches us.
John

Very well woven and stated.  Yet seeking the paragon may be a way in which to continually improve...as long as one realizes that the paragon will not be reached here on this plane.

Enjoyed the read muchly!

Yes I know what you mean...seeking total perfection is seeking a demand on the imperfect demand that inhabit this sphere.. and life has much more to do with reality than perfection...what a weight....well written!
