Listening to every heart

He Wrote

he wrote,
once,
for me

a song,
a lyric
a melody

he wrote
once, then
came to sing

voice to ring
inspiring

he came and
wrote a song
for me

lithesome,
lovesome
melody

brought my
sigh
right along

such was
tender
harmony

made me
feel as if
I belonged

so how
can this
bliss
be remiss

not, say I
not at all
and in
his song

the fever
assails

lifts me
high

and I
sail

I sail
on sigh

on high

tonight

to
heaven

"He wrote"...this feels so poignant to me.
I would say..he painted..and I know the feeling.
Your poetic style just gets more beautiful every day.

Sparkling water it is then for this poet.  Absolutely beautiful my friend.  Loved the flow and the format but mostly the message it sends out.

Sunshine, I'm still giggling at what Balladeer has said above...
But it is true dear lady your poetry lately has such brillance of lustre in the expression you pen onto page and in the words of Kethry "WRITE ON"...

Permit me to say, this is breathtaking and thanks sweetie for another sweet read this eve...
Coco

Ah Cat, I've been written, painted and blessed by many of the poets here...perhaps it was just in the choice of a pen-name...thank you!...

Mark, all poems should be replete in messages of the heart, should they not?...that, or a good giggle...

Coco...isn't it fun when we can take a "serious" poem and get a giggle out of it...teaches us never to take things too seriously...thank you my dear, for reading...

Mr. Yeats, no, Sir.  You need not say another word, but accept my smile, and my gratitude.  Thank you.

And what a song he must have written and sang to you in order to inspire you in such a wonderful manner...very nice indeed!!

surely though, the songs that he sings aren't nearly as wonderful as this. . . but I hope that he continues to inspire. . .

wonderful from you. . .
