The air was washed in thunder
Lightning flashed afar
The earth was torn and rent asunder
As titans came to spar

Up onto the podium
a victim chosen true
he had partaken of their sodium
and now the day would rue

He gave his hand in friendship
Then offered spiked glove
Betrayal by his poets trip
Grew anger out of love

And as he stood there trembling
The warriors took the field
He changed his mind, dissembling
As they refused to yield

First came the warrior Sunshine
With sword of steely bright
The ring of steel, echoed through time
Was raised with power of write

To stand beside came Balladeer
Not wearing lace or leather
He was the Titan all should fear
With poet's mace, quilled feather

Kethry stood beside the two
As she took her place
Her role, pick up the pieces strewn
Shreds of the victim's face

Soon the crowds all gathered round
A warrior clash to see
Thunder's might the only sound
Of the victim's futility

With trembling knees and fainting heart
The victim took a stand
To beat the three, would then impart
Unknown power to his command

To be continued…

Kethry love this is truly delightful. Go write and write some more. Truly fabulous love. And I love it as I always do.
Take care

Now you of all three know that I never start what I can't finish, well sometimes I do but this isn't one of them, is it?
I have completed the poem just waiting for a suitable timeframe to post the other 85,757 sections *just kidding* (maybe)

What an unbeatable trio.....Sunshine, Balladeer, Kethry. What evil demon could possibly stand up against such an awesome force?

Well this cowboy knows when to stay out of the way.  With the three of you together I don't think any pirate let alone LJA has a chance.  Stepping aside now because I don't want to be a victim in this battle.
