I'll Be Your Wave On The Water

Whenever the sun has hidden herself from your eyes
And your heart and soul are heaving weary sad sighs
When you feel like you should just give up all hope
And the world seems too hard and you just can't cope
If your dreams are too far away for them to come true
And all around seems dreary and your soul feels blue

I'll be your wave on the water I'll be the surf on your sea
I'll be your sigh in the wind I'll be the breeze in your tree
I'll be your sanctuary and when you need help call for me

Whenever the stars seem to go misty and appear far away
And your head doesn't hear what your heart has to say
When the colours have left the rainbow turning it grey
And the music you hear doesn't make you want to sway
If the moon doesn't cast just for you her special glow
And you don't feel your passion and love ebb and flow

I'll be your beat in the heart I'll be the flow of hot desire
I'll be your touch of love I'll be your flickering flame of fire
I'll be your kiss which takes me higher and then higher

When the world seems to be turning it's back on you
And the people you trusted have all left you alone too
When black clouds come and the storm rages overhead
And the lightening flashes and you think that love is dead
When the gift of love you hold out gets trampled underfoot
And the clean winters scene becomes dirty and covered in soot

I'll be your sun in the sky I'll be the birds soaring so high
I'll be your hearts kiss I'll be the spirit within the sigh
I'll be your spirit reaching out for those stars in the sky

This has the flow of a heartbeat, can't get much better than that!

Mushy,
I do believe you've written this to the beat of my heart, and Kathleen is right, it can't get much better than that.
Write on, with song

Marsha,
This is a lovely poem, telling of a desire to be there for that special someone.
I liked it much.

Marsha~
Utterly amazing are these thoughts -

'I'll be your wave on the water I'll be the surf on your sea
I'll be your sigh in the wind I'll be the breeze in your tree'

You blow easily through our minds and hearts with lovely verse.

Now I have a favorite of yours for sure.  You have gone beyond the reaches of earthly love in this piece and empowered it with all the powers of the world.  What a beautifully and superb poem my friend.  I am truely impressed with this piece in many many ways and instead of pointing out a single verse or line I will simply tell you that I loved the whole write.  I applaud your growth in this one thunderously.

Circe love, thank you so muchly, I must admit that this series of poems I've worked on. I know it makes a change   I can't thank the poetry fairy for these, they are me. So I truly do thank you.
(Now you know how I spent the Christmas period   I was at work, you surely didn't expect me to break a sweat.   )
Take care kid

Margie girl, thank you so very muchly, I can't tell you how much that means to me.
I do so value your praise, and the time you take to reply to my and others poetry. Thank you love.

Janet Marie, You know I don't deserve that compliment, not at all. I can see that I am only beginning to uncover some of the mysteries. But I shall never be anything more than average, comparisons are invidious but they are also inevitable, and I know, none better, the very long way I have to go.
For you to say this is my best yet, makes my heart smile, and in a way my spirits sink, I wonder just how awful my pervious efforts have been. I take the compliment because I know you mean it sweetly, and for that I thank you sincerely.
Take care sweetie

Mark my very dear friend, I can't thank you enough, but again it is a compliment that I know I do not deserve and never will.
Although it is so tempting to grab the praise and run, and you don't know how tempting. I feel a bit like Cinderella, hopelessly outclassed, outranked, and know that come midnight I shall turn back into one of the common herd.
I do thank you tremendously
Take care
