You've Waited < !signature-->You've waited so long to shake off those shackles of jealous thought Wait no longer for freedom and those dreams that you've sought You are allowed to breathe and to live your life with truth and love It is not in others gifting, no this is a special gift from up there above Don't waste your life struggling free of fears chains just break the link Open your eyes to reality and you can decide what you say and think Your eyes are turned inward and you see nothing but hearts tears Lift up your sight from its dark and lonesome vigil banish those fears Turn your face upward and feel and breathe the beauty of truths light Stand no longer in the shadow reveal your heart, send back the night No one can hold you bound within your prison, tear those walls down Let your spirit smile and dance now is the time to lose angers frown Those years you feel you've wasted in trying to be other than you are The seeds they've sown within you, determination you shall travel far Take up the challenge you know this is what you've longed to do Throw off the mantle of obedience and answer back those critics too Be what you desire and let your heart wander whither, wherever it will With real love and light come and take it all, feast on it, take your fill Throw back the curtains that have closed your soul off away from light Feel your spirit refreshing herself, finding truth such an amazing delight You can be whatever you wish, you can touch the rainbow, be the best Free yourself from the dark possessiveness, be yourself, unlike all the rest With those chains removed set your heart and your hopes finally free You'll be flying higher now look beside you and there will always be me Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 12-26-2000).] |

Hi lil sis, thanks sweetie, I always think just a little wind beneath the wings of those who are feeling a little down. This time of the year seems to make those who are alone feel worse.
