Listening to every heart

The Late of Burgeoning

while I am always on time
in getting to an appointment

                                         ~ in life ~

I was always late
in maturing

physically my body is here
in its locality
in spirit my body is here
in transcendent reality
but in burgeoning
my body is behind
within
and in my mind

recall I do
the want of budding
forth
but not to have
happened with others
but later
and later
came eventually
and the intimacy
of the briefest garment
finally came to me
but comfort
did not come to
me in the strapping on
of womanhood

it is not as if I could
understand
even now
the want of me
so I fearfully feel
I have just glided along

                                              until…

I heard his song

deep from within
came the fountain of
youthful whim
and like a fountain of
awesome relief
I am beginning to feel
the breach of burgeoning

and of womanhood

and more !

                                          and more ~

this causes me
some bit of trepidation
for the relation
is not what was expected
age comes in
to questioning
and mentioning this
does not shoal away
my thoughts
but bought
a moment of
second guess
so comes the quest
of my mind
slow to unwind

in the realm of the day

the burgeoning
of body complete
is not replete
in my mind
for emotions of force
take me on
of course
and on course
I do not mind

so sweep me away
in these your dreams
and carry me off on
logical schemes
then once more say
you've the key to my heart
and therefore impart

                                      the burgeoning

mix twilight with purple
and stars with moonlight
stir in some magic
and mysteries delight
then take favored poets
of the land that we breathe
then come up again
and give me relief
to hear what they say

in the burgeoning

I once thought that growth
into a size would do fine
till I learned that the
growth was here
right here
in my mind
and the growth that I've done
now suits me just fine

so I will live with
the burgeoning

and I will face
the reckoning

of that life that will
suit me just
fine

I have never seen you Sunshine but I bet you have flowered into enough of a woman to love and satisfy any man. The last part of this where you state that you have blossomed into a better person as a result of your interchange of poetic expression...well! I know that part to be absolutely true!!

Kari love, Oh wow, this is what I've been saying isn't it   I know you have grown, and a wondrous blossoming it is. Oh Kari love this is truly exceptional, it really is magnificent. And every line, every single word is written in letters of fire that show just how much you have grown.
I love this one, I think it is stunning
Take care love

Oh, this piece flows with such music and voice! Yes, love shall overcome all obstacles in life, we must move on, burgeoning through every gully and chasm of life. Thank you for sharing, my friend!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Your random thoughts flow with a simple beauty...

"and I will continue to read
your wonderous gifts
soaking them in
hoping to learn
from your insights
some lessons of life
maybe changing myself
that'll suit me just fine..."

Glorious...

I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...
