Rewrite

The Blind That See

His plead a prayer, each bead a swear
Of faith and love that he declares.
A zealots firm belief within
Those hands so fragile, skin so thin.

He swears away life in prayer
Even though the beads do wear.
And the string grows thinner each day
As his fingers wrinkle and grey.

Yet through those blind and staring eyes
Each bead sends out his silent cries
From a mind and heart within
To stay from satin and his sin.

Never a pause, never a stop
The beads in circle touch and drop
Each drop a message from his soul
A rosary of moral goal.

I wonder at this blind moolvie
If he is blind then what of me?

Sometimes the blind can see things more clearly than those of us with sight. Well done.

Perceptions vary with point of view - - well said - sometimes we need more introspection

I have goosebumps after reading this equisitly written piece unwrapping the shallow depth of my soul when seeing the profundity of others

Very fine piece.  Great rhythm and flow as well as thought provoking.  I do think you want Satan instead of satin.  Satin is for sheets and wedding gowns.  ;o

Virginia, perhaps, not...Sy has a wonderful way of playing with words and getting those of us who see the shallow feel the deep...
