The Blending...2000-2001

Having secluded myself for almost a year
with only a blue heaven of friendships before me,
the addictive moments are coming to an end,
being forced into a reality mirror of cracks.

Before me, in its breaks, I see several paths
no "yellow brick roads",
although a wizard, I should like to find.

Held in the magic powers of want,
I am desirous of you, the "you"
who finds me approachable, not just the smile,
but my whole of being.

One with a rainbow to show, not its pot of gold,
but it's brightly colored hues
to blend with the subtleness of mine.

Can "you" find "me" within me, the tenderness
that is hidden behind words, letters
each forming, a phrasing of thoughts,
waiting to be completed by love...

Can "you" accept the gentle nature expressed
by the touch of knowledge, that I am who I say I am
and that this is "real", genuine
and not some fictitious character, living a fairy tale...

I may appear as a shadow in the moonlight,
I may drift in your dreams
kiss your thoughts, warm your cold
but...I am not illusory,
and am reachable, approachable,
for the "you" that will extend to me
the colors of his rainbow, to blend with mine.

Wynter~
Well, your thoughts are never nak'd ...
You quilt them in the softest phrases !

*Merry Christmas, my friend.
May the new year find you blending.
*Hugs*

This is intense and so expressive, I"m very impressed

Somehow the words
"You've come a long way"
fit this rendition...
