The Unfamiliar Phase Lancelot {Bilal} © 2000 This was my first ever poem, written nearly months ago. Never knew what it meant Never knew how it felt Brought up in an innocent world Away from all fuss and cold The life was good and Wasn't aware of what I need Once away and on my own I think of having someone mine Had crushes but never knew love Cuz may be she never came above Always mysterious 'bout girls around Never understood myself or those around I knew only the love And I thought all that was more than enough When I got it from mom, dad and bro Relatives, friends and of course foe But now I seek a different level Something new, strange, strong and wild I know my strength and I know my capacity and I know I'll love uptill eternity Show me the path and tell me how You survive the fever and fall in love I could be forever in love if you need But I need a green light so I can heed ! |
