She's Jackie Chan

Tell me this.
How can so much happiness be wrapped up in the verbalism of a phone call?
This happened shortly after a whole world of sensuality traveled thru her kiss.
And why do I feel so lonely when she doesn't call?
I never realized it was possible to so deeply miss her kiss.
Perhaps I am letting my feelings run wild
and she doesn't care for me at all.
So I have to say its alright if she doesn't have a soft place within her heart for me.
Still this doesn't help me deal with my soft heart desiring the pleasure of her company.
And really its not alright.
It's lots of loneliness and emptiness each night.
I truly miss her.  She's the world's best kisser.
She has determined that her life will be based on essential priorities.
Strict compliance will be required of any man desiring the pleasure of her company.
Oh yes, it was she who said "I am first and foremost a business woman.
If you meet my requirements I will fit you into my plan.
And remember this, I require total loyalty from my man."
So now I find myself thinking, My God have you forsaken me?  What exactly do you require of me.
How could she just turn and walk away from me?
Still I know I must be willing to let her go.
For only she controls her destiny.
So, it must be me putting myself thru this misery.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm in the ring with this ugly guy that keeps bashing my face.
And I jab then I tuck.  And I punch then I duck.
No matter how much I bob and weave and roll
it's still totally his show.
No matter how valiant my fight he turns off my light.
And no matter what I do he breaks me in two.
Just once I'd like to know how it feels to win
and see how much he appreciates having his face bashed in.
Perhaps it's easy for her to say goodbye.
"See you later Mr. Lee."
But I miss her dearly.  She was an angel to me.
Afterall we did tango for awhile.
We lived many a magic moment
and we share at least a hundred smiles.
She may or may not care for me.
But the important part is we tried Jackie, didn't we?
And make no mistakes my friend.
Lessons have been learned and medals have already been earned.
And I am the man still missing Jackie Chan.

James,
you shared a hundred smiles and already earned the medals, you don't need me to tell you this is a good write, but it is.
