Of Remembered Curlicues
~*Marge Tindal*~

I reach within the well of me
dip my quill in ink of sage
penning thoughts calligraphic
upon the barren page

As if on cue, the curlicues
stroked with ease and grace
magically begin to appear
as thoughts are artfully traced

I step back from the easel
gazing in amaze
The render tendered says to me
another time - another place

A thought-o-graph has presented
another's smile of revealing grace
Have I penned another's heart
from some other time and place

I wonder ...

I really like this Marge......
"A thought-o-graph has presented
another's smile of revealing grace
Have I penned another's heart
from some other time and place."

That is so pure and poetic and I love the idea of the whole piece..well done as usual Marge!!!

Often I feel the pull to a time and places never lived and my pen relects them.  I also wonder.  Maybe I did not drink long enough from the River Lethe at the end of those past lives.

ETHome~
I appreciate you, my friend.
Thank you for understanding.

Marsha~
Thanks for the elegant.
That is just exactly the way she comes to me.

JohnR~
I am also drawn to several places of the past.
I find the ink in my well ... and it commands me write.

Wynter~
I thank you for that.

JanetMarie~
As you well know, the muses in my life are numerous.
Each one uniquely different.
All I need do - is listen and I'm there.
Thank you always for your replies.

Paula~
Thank you.
Yes, strong feelings of the past
draw me back to where I was
and enlighten me as to where I am, or should be.

Seymour~
Thank you, poet.

In response to the query, indeed you have...oft times I think..."I wish I had written that"...or "where's my muse? O! Over there on Marge's shoulder!"

And this, my dear friend, is a keeper....

Excellent! Bravo!! Very original and I loved the 'feel' of this one.  Really enjoyed this read and this one took me somewhere, making me think where, reflecting.   Just loved it.

I don't where you get all your ideas...you have this magical way of making something wonderful out of something simple...

I love that...

Marge,
Let me take this reply to tell you how much I admire and appreciate you.  I read somewhere and I don't know who said it, that everything we write is an original, unique thought and has never been written before and probably never again.  I just wanted to share that with you and wish you and yours a Merry Christmas.

I personally think that maybe you have been blessed with a part of all our lives because you could be intrusted to take such good care of the gift.  How else could you possible see life as deep and beautiful as you do.  You are one of the angels among us for sure my friend and I for one am thankful for all the times I find you on my shoulder.
