Card Game Of Love

The cards have been dealt and
the game is under way, which
card do you play next my love?
The cards bare the symbols of
life's games and you must act
upon your play or you forfeit
the prize.

What shall it be my love the
card of distance or the card
baring false pretenses, what
shall it be my love? I've been
patient, I am understanding, I
have shown you that.

I hold in my hands the cards
of forever-true happiness and
contentment, but from what I
can see you have been playing
the game with all foul cards
that do not fuse with mine.

My love please take your time
to decide which card to play
and please remember that this
game you could loose that in
which you so called cherished,
and then there will be no one
for you to play with any more
my love.

By, Cerenity

Wow Cerenity...
I really like how you used a game of cards to
write and express your self.
Jokers should not be allowed in the deck of life!
You deserve and ACE of HEARTS! Or would that be a King?

I'm glad you reposted this.... I missed it the first time around!

Cerenity, great use of metaphor, wonderfully
written poem.

"an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree
the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women".

Thank you, I agree no jokers and I'll take the king of hearts any time now of one?

Brian,

Thank you as well, actually I think I use alot of Metaphors now that you mentioned it, "hum" I wonder why?

Love, Cerenity
