Sway Slowly, Feel The Music

Sway slowly,
feel the music,
close your eyes
hear the song,
come with me,
follow my steps,
listen and see,
feel the love,
the love,
the love,
I give to thee.

Sit upon
good mother earth,
touch her heart
beneath your hand;
grasp my fingers,
feel the throb
My Heart emits,
when I hold your hand.

See and feel,
flow with the wind,
revel in the warmth
of what I give;
take it and run,
leap and catch a cloud,
tumble to earth,
lay upon the ground,
close your eyes,
smile so deep…
feel what I know,
when thinking of you.

Know that I love,
with the glow that comes
just after it rains,
with all the starlight
that's ever been,
and I want to love,
and adore you,
with all of my life.

I want to watch leaves fall,
winter come,
spring wash it away,
summer languish
with it's lazy days…
I want to live every day,
every day of my life,
with you.

So sway slowly,
feel the music,
close your eyes
hear the song,
come with me,
follow my steps,
listen and see,
feel the love,
the love,
the love,
I give to thee.

Now that was one sweet dance through a heart obviously ready for love.  Wonderful read my friend.  Keep them coming.

The poems that you have posted within the past few days have highly impressed me, I am really starting to take notice when I see your name now!  Your poetry is a breath of fresh air, I am sorry that I never noticed you as much before.  This was absolutely beautiful, I love your words of love and childlike fervor throughout!  The music theme is a perfect comparison, music much like love can touch the soul so deeply and take it to new heights.  You really do have a creative and peaceful ways with words in this piece.  *sigh* a perfect beginning and ending - very effective to repeat the main point!

Take care,
Melissa
